Edit video by editing text, or just say what to change
A timeline makes you find the frame. A transcript lets you read the video instead. TurboCut gives you both, plus a third way: describe the change in a sentence and it re-plans the edit for you.
Delete the word, delete the video
Your whole recording is a document. Kept words look normal and cut words are struck through. Highlight a sentence and press delete, and the timeline closes the gap. Changed your mind? Restore it without leaving a jump cut.

Or skip the editing and give direction
Some changes are easier to describe than to make. Type “make it ten minutes”, “cut every pause longer than a second”, or “start on the best moment, not the intro”, and TurboCut re-plans the whole timeline: which moments survive, how long each runs, and where it opens. It comes back in seconds.
You can also give direction before the first cut, and it plans toward what you asked for rather than a generic template.
Nothing you try is destructive
Every pass is saved as its own version. Go three prompts deep, decide the first one was right, and go back to it. When the edit is right, publish to YouTube on a paid plan, or download the file.

Do I need to know how to edit video?
No. If you can edit a document or describe what you want, you can edit the video. The timeline is still there if you want it.
How accurate is the transcript?
It is good enough to cut on, and you can click any word to hear it in context before you delete it.
